By Rita Huga · Last updated 20 October 2026 · Official The Pokies brand guide for AU
The Pokies brings pokies, tables and live casino together in one spot. For players in Australia the key point is simple: this is the current official site for the brand, not a copy using a similar name. We gather 7000+ online pokies, real casino tables, card games and rapid play titles into one browser-based casino, and you can play in AUD or in crypto like Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT and USDC.
After phone verification new members can receive A$10 free, a 100% first deposit match up to A$500 and 50 free spins — 10 per day. Read the current bonus terms on our promotions page before you claim.

Why Play at The Pokies?
We have not built ThePokies around a complicated sign-up funnel or a cluttered lobby. The idea is simple: get you to the games, the cashier and support quickly, whether you are on a laptop or a phone.
Pokies are easy to find — from classic slots to bonus-buy and video titles;
Payouts are set up to be straightforward — with crypto usually treated as the faster withdrawal route;
AUD payments sit alongside Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT and USDC;
The mobile version works in the browser — with no separate app needed;
Support is available through live chat and email around the clock.
The Pokies Login — Quick Access
Signing in takes a few seconds. Open our current official site, select the sign-in button, enter your registered username and password, and follow any security steps shown on screen. This matters most if you have an older address saved and it no longer loads.
Welcome Bonus & Promotions at The Pokies
New players can get an A$10 welcome bonus after phone verification. The package also includes a 100% first deposit match up to A$500 plus 50 free spins, released 10 per day. Our offers change from time to time, so the promotion shown at registration is the one that applies to you.
The first deposit bonus is a match bonus, not a cash bonus. It carries a 40x wagering requirement unless a promotion states otherwise, and the minimum deposit to qualify is A$30.
We also run reload bonuses, free spin promotions and seasonal offers. You will find them in the promotions section or in the cashier once you are logged in, so check there rather than relying on old screenshots or third-party bonus pages. A bonus is always an extra, never guaranteed profit.
Get 10% Cashback on Your Pokie Losses
Not every spin can be a winner, but at ThePokies, we’re here to give you something back. With ThePokies Cashback, you can get 10% cashback on your net pokie losses every week.
Make at least 3 deposits of $30 or more.
Your most recent deposit must have been made within the last 30 days.
Your cashback is calculated based on your net pokie losses — total bets minus total wins. You can receive a minimum of $20 and up to $100 cashback every week.
VIP & Loyalty Programme — 10 Levels
Our loyalty programme has 10 levels, ranging from Copper to Rhodium. You earn XP on qualifying real money play, and once you reach the redemption threshold you can exchange that XP for real money credit.
Standard rate is 100 XP = A$1. Higher levels bring bigger rewards, tailored offers and faster help from support. There is no trick to it: play qualifying games, earn XP, level up and redeem once your account reaches the qualifying level.
Games & Pokies Library — 7000+ Games
Whether you are chasing a big-win Megaways session or a few spins on the classics, there is something here for you. There are 7,000+ games in the Pokies Australia lobby, and pokies take up most of it: high volatility slots, classic fruit machines, jackpots, Megaways releases, bonus-buy pokies and new releases from international studios.
There is more to it than slots. We also run blackjack, roulette, baccarat and live dealer tables for anyone who wants the feel of a traditional casino, plus crash games, specialty titles and instant win formats when you only have a few minutes to play.
Top Game Providers
We work with over 25 software suppliers. Pragmatic Play, Playson, Aristocrat, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, Push Gaming, BGaming, Booming Games and Yggdrasil are on the list. That mix covers familiar titles, recent video slots, live casino tables and high volatility releases.
We accept AUD payments as well as major cryptocurrencies. Card methods are the usual route for deposits, and crypto is normally the fastest way to withdraw. If you are new, you may need to verify your account before your first withdrawal, and larger cashouts can take longer if extra checks are needed. These checks are a standard part of casino payments, so make sure your account details are correct before you request a payout.
ThePokies on Mobile
ThePokies works well on mobile. There is no app or APK to install, and the lobby opens straight in your browser. The mobile version gives you the main game categories, the cashier, promotions, account settings and support. Pokies, live games and table titles are optimised for current smartphones and tablets, so you can deposit, claim offers, open games and withdraw from the same browser-based account.
Is The Pokies Safe? Licence & Responsible Gambling
ThePokies operates under a Curaçao licence and has been active since 2021. Operator and company registration details are listed in our site terms. We use SSL encryption to protect personal and payment information, and games from our providers run on tested RNG systems to support fair results.
18+ Responsible Gambling. Casino play is not a way to make money and should stay entertainment only. We offer responsible gambling tools including deposit limits, time-out and self-exclusion, and we recommend setting your own limits before you deposit. Australian players who are concerned about gambling can contact Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858. Never risk the rent, bills, debt payments or daily living budget on a game.
